The Berkeley Lab Guest House is a comfortable, serene hotel located on the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory campus, just uphill from UC Berkeley. There is a convenient and frequent LBNL shuttle bus service to the Brower conference center and BART.

There are numerous other options close to downtown Berkeley. We also recommend the Graduate Hotel and the Hotel Shattuck.

Conference venue:‍ ‍

The Summit will be held again at the David Brower Center in Downtown Berkeley
2150 Allston Way, Berkeley, California 94704

The Brower Center advocates for the beauty, diversity and ecological integrity of our planet and people. Named after Berkeley native David R. Brower, who is considered by many to be the father of the modern environmental movement. All lectures will be held in the beautiful Goldman Theater, and poster sessions, exhibitor tables and food will be located in the atrium, outdoor terrace, and the Tamalpias room.  Located one block from the BART subway system.

Food:

On-site catering is provided by ACT Catering, bringing a unique blend of local, seasonal, and delightful fare. Light breakfast, morning and afternoon coffee breaks, and lunch will be provided for all attendees.  Vegan and gluten free options available.

Banquet Dinner:

We have rented out Gather restaurant for our Banquet dinner on Wednesday evening, located adjacent to the David Brower Center. Gather offers local, organic, ethically sourced food and drink in a warm, sustainably-created space.
